H1N1 INFLUENZA A - "Swine Flu"

If you are sick and think it may be influenza, please contact your doctor or phone Healthline on 0800 611 116, in an emergency ph 111.  Influenza Symptons include fever and chills, headache and sore throat, a sore chest, extreme tireness, aches and pains, coughing or sneezing.  For further information go to www.moh.govt.nz/influenza-a-h1n1

To reduce the risk of infection

• Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze
• Wash hands with soap and water and dry throughly, for 20 seconds each
• If you are sick, stay away from work and school to reduce the risk to others
